The Oval Physiotherapy
Joel and Erica Werman have managed The Oval Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Centre for 25 years. In fact, I’m a patient and so are half my friends and family because they’re such nice people who know their stuff. But they’d put having a website in the ‘too hard’ basket, and felt that they needed one to make it easier for both patients and other medical professionals to find them online. They asked me to help them write their website. I also recommended Simone Meskauskas at lucy & monty design for the website design. It was a great process and they were very pleased with the outcome.
“Denise helped me by really listening to what my business was about and what I stood for. She was able to get my message across in language that was appropriate to our target market. One thing I liked was the way that she understood the process of developing written content that will aid my business in terms of the whole complicated area of search engine optimization with Google. I found the experience to be very pleasant as she is a calm and intelligent woman who is able to listen to my ideas and transform them into the written words for our website. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to either create or update their website.”

“Truly understanding our customer’s needs is the heart of our business and the basis of our plans for growth. The information collected via Denise’s Client Surveys would be very difficult for us to gather for ourselves. Coming in as a 3rd party, Denise’s service provided an opportunity for our clients to be more honest about how our services are working for them, and what they are looking for next. We would highly recommend Denise’s service to any business that’s looking to retain key customers and identify emerging business opportunities.“

Tikaperu supports the women working at the Casas de las Mujeres with a market for their handicrafts. All proceeds go directly to the project founded by Australian Sisters of Mercy in the Corn Hill/Tres de Mayo and Cerro Candela districts of Lima, Peru.
The main source of support comes through selling school scarves to Australian schools. I wrote the original website (and I’m currently writing the new website). I have written and mailed newsletters to supporters and been the main point of contact between Australian customers and the women in the Lima workshop.
Cochlear is the world’s leading producer of cochlear implants. The company had many offices around the world and wanted to centralise some of its communication. In particular, they wanted to rewrite and redesign the customer portal so it was more approachable and would be of more use to cochlear implant recipients.
I worked on a contract basis with the Marketing Communications team to re-write the Client Portal website. I also wrote a series of client emails for a new product.
